Hoa and I are currently in Chicago, visiting my parents. We have been here for three days now, eating Italian beef, Chicago hot dogs, and delicious sushi for Hoa's birthday. We are about to eat dim sum before returning to DC. Too bad the rest of our family could not join us for dinner last night.

Tomorrow we will be running in the Capitol Hlll 10k, which passes directly in front of our English Basement aparment near Eastern Market. Afterwards we will be having lunch with my old friend B. Chan, who is visiting from California. Then we will drive to visit Hoa's family in Mt. Penn.

We depart for Kenya on May 27th!!
