Khoury's Winter Challenge, East Somerville, MA

Today I ran the annual Khoury's Winter Challenge. The route starts at Khoury's Spa at 118 Broadway, goes directly up Winter Hill (tough!) and around town for 4.13 miles. I ran with a bum knee and came in about 38:00. Khoury's served a fatty breakfast afterwards - ham, eggs, bacon, bagels, coffee. It was a 40 degree, crisp, sunny morning. There were about 150 (?) runners.

Also, I believe Somerville Road Runners run this route every Thursday night at about 7:30 regardless of rain, snow, sleet, or fog...
